The three layer construction makes for a more stable engineered wood flooring board. The top layer consists of just a single strip of Oak. This make for a slightly more expensive flooring board although gives the floor a much more authentic look with clear lines and less character on the floor.

Generally, a wider board will cause a slight increase in the price. The Smoked AV12 is a 150 mm wide plank.
